I wish to point it out it isn't optional in my local school. If students don't complete it they are unable to secure a place in 6th form. If they don't keep upto date they have to leave school. If it is widely accepted great,  if not then this isn't appropriate especially when our school has dropped the choice of four A levels to 3 to accommodate it.

From personal experience when my eldest daughter applied for university it was accepted by English Universitie but ironically Cardiff wouldn't recognise it.
